Renovation is almost complete! Please join us for our Annual Alliance Membership Meeting and the exciting unveiling of the newly renovated Education Labs on Tuesday, April 30th. The Alliance is thrilled to share the details of another successful year and we look forward to the approaching 2019-2020 season.

This year’s program will include a special talk by architect and past Alliance President, Dana Walton, the key person responsible for the lab renovation project.  We couldn’t be more excited about the Museum School classes that resumed on February 19 and the ArtSpace interactive gallery that will open in April. The new ArtSpace gallery will allow visitors of all ages and abilities to engage, examine, respond/interact to works of art from the Museum's Permanent Collection in new ways. This unique environment advocates the purpose of the AMoA Alliance, to financially support and promote the educational programs and services of the Amarillo Museum of Art.

AMoA’s Curator of Art, Alex Gregory, will introduce the Alliance Members to the newly purchased suite of prints by Louise Nevelson given to the Museum by the 2017-2018 Alliance Board. These artworks will be available for viewing on the first floor through June 23.

As our primary recruiting event, we are hoping this meeting will help us increase our membership and therefore expand our support of AMoA. Please consider being a hostess for the Annual Alliance Membership Meeting by sending $40 in the enclosed envelope or by visiting amoa-alliance.com to pay online. Your assistance in underwriting the meeting’s expenses will allow our fundraising efforts to be devoted entirely to the educational programming at AMoA. In order to include your name on the invitation, we request to have your gift by March 22nd.

Thank you so much for your support of the AMoA Alliance and the Amarillo Museum of Art.
