The Amarillo Museum of Art invites you to join us for the annual Ladd Lecture on Thursday, October 16, 2025. This free and popular event is made possible by the generosity of Peggy Ladd and her late husband Frank A. Ladd. The Ladd Lecture is an ongoing series of lectures by distinguished experts from across the United States with a focus toward a greater understanding and enjoyment of the visual arts.

Victoria’s lecture will examine the most famous works by Andrew and discuss subject matter, context, technique, and of course, fun family stories behind the paintings. Ms. Wyeth intersperses discussions of subject matter and technique with direct quotes to her from her grandfather. She also, of course, adds many personal memories and family stories.

The Ladd Lecture itself is free and open to the public but we invite you to join us as a benefactor for the pre-lecture cocktail reception. Your generous gift will support the many other educational efforts of the AMoA. We ask for your reply by August 30th, 2025 in order to acknowledge your gift in all event materials.
