Ladd Lecture Benefactor

from $250.00

The Amarillo Museum of Art and the AMoA Alliance invite you to join us for the annual Ladd Lecture on Thursday, September 12th, 2019. This annual, free lecture is made possible by the generosity of the late Frank A. Ladd and his wife Peggy. This year, we are thrilled to welcome back Dr. Richard Brettell.  Dr. Brettell is the Founding Director of The Edith O'Donnell Institute of Art History and the Margaret McDermott Distinguished Chair of Art and Aesthetics at the University of Texas at Dallas.  He is also the co-Director of CISM (Center for the Interdisciplinary Study of Museums) at The University of Texas at Dallas.  Whether you are new to the world of art, or a long-time admirer of the masters of European painting and architecture, you will be inspired by the wisdom Dr. Brettell will share.

The Ladd Lecture itself is free and open to the public but we invite you to join us as a benefactor for the pre-lecture cocktail reception.  Your generous gift will support the many other educational efforts of the AMoA.  We ask for your reply by August 16th, 2019 in order to acknowledge your gift in all event materials.

For additional information call 806.371.5050

Each benefactor includes two tickets to the Pre-Lecture Cocktail Reception.

Tax deductible above $40 per person, if attending.

We appreciate your support of the Amarillo Museum of Art and the AMoA Alliance.
